I also loved the “Dark City” director’s cut, along with other changes, it eliminates Kiefer Sutherland’s unnecessary preamble that was added on producers request in their never ending assumption that audiences are idiots. A bad one I thought was “Donnie Darko”, which inexplicably added more sci-fi and made it more inaccessible. But, let’s end on another good one “Daredevil” which I thought worked much like “Batman V. Superman” and made it darker and more interesting.
Oooh...Dark City's another good one. Daredevil, too. I also want to put Zack Snyder's Justice League out there. Completely different movie than the Joss Whedon version.
Kingdom of heaven is a beautifully shot film with some epic battle scenes. It is one of my favorite Ridley Scott Films. I wish they would come out with a 4K upgrade.
The only one that I disagree with is Apocalypse Now: The Final Cut. I never liked that bit in the jungle on the plantation. I found that bit slowed the movie to a crawl. Everything else, though, I absolutely agree with. Kingdom of Heaven is the best director's cut I've ever seen. I also really like the director's edition of Star Trek: The Motion Picture. The director's cut of The Abyss is also excellent. The WORST extended version of a movie was the televised cut of Dune from 1984. My god, that was a train-wreck.

What about Blade Runner?
The Abyss is the one that really started it all. 29 minutes that make the entire film have meaning by restoring the alien plotline.
