Discover the worst examples of product placement in movies, featuring scenes that pause the plot to showcase brands like McDonald’s, Google, and Chevrolet.
Yes, I was going to bring that up as well. I remember watching that scene and Stanley Tucci holding a Beats Pill in his hand. That movie didn't just have product placement in the background, it made it into the script.
I loved how Wayne's World 2 poked fun at this unfortunate trend. My favorite product placement had to be the Reece's Pieces used as an important plot device in E.T. much to M&Ms chagrin.
Another one to mention was "The Last Stand" with Arnold Schwarzenegger. The Chevy Corvette is almost a cast member the way they talk about it in the movie.

The worst product placement that comes to my mind is "Verizon Wireless presents the Indominus Rex"!

To turn the question on its head, I liked how Krazy Glue was used as a plot point in The LEGO Movie, which in and of itself is a commercial.
That’s a good use of product placement!
Part of why I can’t stand watching Terminator 3 is the relentless product placement, it’s obnoxiously bad.
