Yes, I was going to bring that up as well. I remember watching that scene and Stanley Tucci holding a Beats Pill in his hand. That movie didn't just have product placement in the background, it made it into the script.

That was so cringey

I loved how Wayne's World 2 poked fun at this unfortunate trend. My favorite product placement had to be the Reece's Pieces used as an important plot device in E.T. much to M&Ms chagrin.

The worst product placement that comes to my mind is "Verizon Wireless presents the Indominus Rex"!

A lot of Jurassic World is bad like that. Good pick!

The entire Barbie movie was one big product placement.

Another one to mention was "The Last Stand" with Arnold Schwarzenegger. The Chevy Corvette is almost a cast member the way they talk about it in the movie.

Monuments should be built to honor Elizabeth Banks' hissing delivery of "Krissssssspy Kreme" in "Power Rangers".

As far as egregious product placement, Adam Sandler got away with this for way way way too long. He was shameless for so long (and might still be).

To turn the question on its head, I liked how Krazy Glue was used as a plot point in The LEGO Movie, which in and of itself is a commercial.

That’s a good use of product placement!

Part of why I can’t stand watching Terminator 3 is the relentless product placement, it’s obnoxiously bad.
